Bhubanananda Orissa School of Engineering (BOSE), Cuttack, has signed an MoU with global automobile major Mercedes-Benz India to offer an advanced diploma in automotive mechatronics (ADAM) course.

This collaboration was formalised on Friday between BOSE principal Hrushikesh Mohanty and VP of customer services, Mercedes-Benz India, Shekhar Bhide. The programme will commence in the ensuing academic year 2025-26.

Shri Jayant Chaudhary, Hon'ble MoS (I/C) - Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, MoS - Education, GoI, Shri Sampad Chandra Swain, Hon'ble MoS (I/C), Industries, Skill Development & Technical Education, GoO and Shri Atul Tiwari, Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development & entreprenuership, toured WSC's ultramodern labs.

Time has come for the ITI-ians to show their magic & prove their mettle.  #ITIFest2024 was inaugurated by Director, DTET Shri Samarth Verma along with COO of World Skill Center, Shri Pinaki Patnaik, in presence of other senior officials and participating trainees of ITIs.

Shri Hemanta Sharma, Addl Chief Secy, Industries Dept & Nodal Secy for Sambalpur, visited SDC Aradabahal, Kuchinda with Sr district officials. He interacted with PG & SHGs involved in SMO for livelihoods, supported by technical guidance from Shahi Export Pvt Ltd. 

A team led by Dr. Arvind Virmani, Hon'ble Member of Niti Aayog visited SDEC, Dhenkanal and appreciated the training center, especially the placement opportunities provided to trained #SkilledInOdisha candidates.

Secretary Ministry of Skill Development. GoI Shri Atul K Tiwari together with Shri Samarth Verma, DTE&T & team of RDSDE Bhubaneshwar visited ITI, Cuttack and interacted with trainees, understood industry connects for OJT & DST, add-on skills through CoEs & MTR in improving employability etc.

During the plenary sessions - 'Skilling for Viksit Odisha 2036 And Viksit Bharat 2047' and 'Skilled In Odisha: Local to Global', 16 MoUs were exchanged with Industry Partners across various sectors, further reinforcing Odisha’s skilling agenda.
