At the end of the program, the learner will be able to

• Identify the job requirements and the basic concepts linked with plastic injection moulding process
• Operate machinery in order to produce good quality plastic partsusing given material and mould
• Identify the raw material and equipment required to perform theinjection moulding process
• Prepare the injection moulding machine
• Demonstrate feeding of plastic granules for trial of the product
• Operate the injection moulding machine for executing theoperations
• Monitor various parameters of the process
• Perform troubleshooting of the process/product if any.
• Perform quality check and inspection of the finished products
• Practise repairing the parts produced to correct the defective pieces
• Practice the basics of MS Office/relevant software
• Describe marketing, planning and client relation management
• Maintain basic health and safety practices at the workplace
